All sessions are run by drone photography expert Chris Gorman.  Workshops that specifically focus on improving photographic creativity using a drone. Chris imparts his knowledge of both drones and the media industry, helping photographers add that vital extra string to their bow in a very competitive creative world.

On location: One on One Workshops

4 hours on location. split equally between real time flying and classroom tuition

Beginner (For those either planning on buying a drone or new drone owners)

Intermediate (A more fluid class for those with drone experience wanting to up your game)

  • Flying both regular drones and FPV  (in the field)
  • Manually exposing HDR (in the field)
  • Exposure and composition tips (in the field)

  • Applying for flight clearance in a restricted zone (a run through the NATS process) (classroom)

Online Workshop

A 2 hour presentation dissecting images from the Big Ladder archive with an in depth look at how ideas were conceived and ultimately carried out. 

Also includes a unique look from the inside out on how to pitch images to media publications and competitions.

Included in the session will be advice on purchasing the correct drone for your photographic needs and helping you choose the correct qualification for your drone business.
